Who You Help

SHHA serves a catchment area in excess of 19,000 clients which includes the Municipality of South Huron and its adjacent communities. The Hospital plays a pivotal role in our community providing 24/7 emergency services, laboratory services, diagnostic imaging services, and outpatient clinic services, etc. ​

Jessica's House was established in memory of Jessica Hamather, and was built by the community, for the community. This beloved facility is a sanctuary of peace and compassionate care for families experiencing the end-of-life journey with a loved one.

RULES OF PLAY FOR DRAW # 1 - License #11983
  1. Purchaser must be 18 years or older to play.
  2. Tickets will be sold using electronic raffle system supplied by Ascend Fundraising Solutions.
  3. Tickets can be purchased online at the website www.SH5050.ca, and www.shhf.on.ca and www.jessicashouse.ca.
    One Draw Only ‐ Ticket Sales Starting Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at 12:00 am, and ending Friday, June 5th, at 11:59pm.
    The draw will take place Saturday, June 6th at 12:00pm and will be done electronically.
  4. Tickets can be purchased for $10.00 for 10 numbers, $20.00 for 60 numbers, $50.00 for 200 numbers. Purchases can be made online at www.sh5050.ca with a credit card only purchase.
  5. After buying, patrons will be given by the sellers, a receipt with their 50/50registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.
  6. The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for the draw for that day/game.
  7. South Huron Hospital Foundation Staff and Board of Directors, along with Jessica’s House Paid Staff and Board of Directors, as well as their spouses, children and children-in-law are not permitted to purchase tickets and are noteligible to win.
  8. One cash prize will be awarded to the winning ticket holder, and will be posted on thewww.SH5050.cawebsite and will also be posted in the local newspaper, and on www.shhf.on.ca and www.jessicashouse.ca. If information about the winner is collected at the point of sale, the winner will be contacted directly.
  9. The winning ticket holder has 6 months in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw their ticket was purchase for.10. The winner must provide his/her name, address and phone number with picture identification for our report sheet and send it tokrista.mccann@shha.on.caor call 519-235-0941.
  10. Once the certified winner is verified, and provides identification with photo ID, they will be given a cheque in the amount of the declared prize which is, at minimum, 50% of the total sales for that game. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.
  11. In the event that no winner comes forward, the winning stub will be kept in a safe and held for 6 months. After that time period has elapsed the prize will donated to a local charity with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
